Outdoor floating event — please plan ahead. Conditions on the water change quickly.

Essentials

  • Reef-safe sunscreen
  • Plenty of water (bring extra)
  • Snacks / easy food
  • Sunglasses + hat
  • Towel(s)
  • Dry bag for phone/keys/wallet
  • Cash/card for incidentals

Boat Setup

  • Anchor + extra anchor line
  • Fender bumpers (boats will be close)
  • Tie-off rope for your group
  • Boat hook (helpful near other boats)
  • Ladder / easy water access
  • Fuel topped off before departure
  • Navigation lights check (if returning late)

Comfort on the Sandbar

  • Float mat / noodles / inflatables
  • Portable shade (bimini/umbrella)
  • Water shoes (sand + shells)
  • Change of clothes
  • Light rain layer (just in case)
  • Extra ice
  • Trash bags (pack it out)

Smart Planning

  • Check weather, wind, and tides
  • Screenshot coordinates/directions (service can be spotty)
  • Arrive early for a better anchor spot
  • Plan your return timing before sunset
  • Identify a meet-up point for your group
  • Know your nearest marina / fuel stop
  • Keep a phone charger/power bank

Food & Drinks

  • Pack more ice than you expect
  • Separate coolers for drinks and food
  • Easy-to-grab snacks (no prep needed)
  • Hydration > alcohol (balance throughout the day)
  • Bring reusable cups
  • Keep coolers shaded when possible

  • Life jackets available onboard
